I’m sure I am not the only one who has had denim struggles since day dot. I have never had a pair of jeans that i’ve been content with ever. So last month I made it my mission to go on a hunt for a pair of jeans I love. Previously I have bought jeans from most high street stores, online stores and the classics like Levi’s however, none have been what I’ve been looking for.
I was aiming to find a variation of style and colour of jeans from black, grey to dark and light blue – including ripped non ripped, cropped and not cropped. I personally not a fan of ‘spray on’ skinny jeans.
Anyway what I found was my perfect pair of light blue jeans which were fitted well around the waist and good around the bum then a little more relaxed around the leg whilst still maintaining a fitted look and the perfect ankle (I roll up the bottom a bit to give a cropped look) these jeans remind me of the Copenhagen street style which was exactly what I was looking for. I found these jeans in Sandro (which I now love – the jackets, jumpers and denim in their shop was to die for, I wanted everything). They were supposed to be £175 but because I bought them at Bicester village they were only £100. However, they were in the sale so was actually only £49 which was similar to prices in high street shops like Topman so I definitely recommend heading to Bicester for a bargain.
I’m still on the hunt for some nice black and grey jeans but I will definitely be keeping an eye out on Sandro – their website doesn’t do them justice go visit a store!

So yes festival season is very much so coming to an end but I want to show you that this outfit is so much more than a festival outfit – it is so so versatile.
For me this is a perfect festival outfit with a twist – it is silky, a bright metallic blue, loose fitting and cool considering it is a shorts and short sleeve co-ord.
I love this outfit for any summer festival I wore mine to pride and Boundary festival which was only last wee
k (I know I was freezing). The only downside for me was it doesn’t come in extra small and I found the shorts were a little oversized – but I just rolled them up and it was fine.
This ‘summer’ 2 piece set gives you so much versatility for all seasons – You can wear them together, dress up / dress down, open shirt / buttoned up, mix and match the shirt and the shorts with other outfits to make a versatile outfit for all weathers. This is why it was well worth the £55 from Zara!
Here are a few ways I would utilise this luxury 2 piece for smart or casual occasions
(P.S. I love the idea of the yellow jumper tied with the 2 piece set the silky blue and the bright yellow work so well defo recommend).
Two Piece from Zara
Yellow Jumper from Zara
Navy cropped Trousers from Bershka
Trainers from Gucci
Jeans from BohooMan
Lemons may usually be thought of as bitter but, if you start incorporating lemon accents into your outfits this summer it will be anything but.
I am not one to follow trends however I am totally on this yellow/ lemon/ mustard hype. I am such a navy, white, black and grey type of guy so brightening up my wardrobe with this colour palette would have seemed daunting not so long ago. However i’ve seen so many people killing it lately with these bright colours. So, if you’re like me and want to switch up your wardrobe and fit in with the brighter season that is (hopefully) ahead of us then defo go and invest in something that is yellow whether it be a whole outfit or an accessory – I will leave some of my favs down below.
I’m in love with this Baywatch-T perfect for the summer, it is bright and refreshing, it adds a bit of cheeky to my classic wardrobe – I will definitely be taking this one on my travels.

…I was served Lemons but I made Lemonade (I saw Beyoncé’s concert the other day still obsessed).
I got this beauty from Zara. I had been wanting one for ages after I saw a blogger shooting it in Joe&Juice in London one day. Since I have searched everywhere for something similar and the closest I got was one in Dior which was extortionate.
I am in love with it for so many reasons:
1- It is sooo comfortable so it is a perfect airport outfit or for a long car journey
2- It isn’t like the ‘typical’ tracksuit you would in-vision It gives you comfort and style
3- It fits so well. Mine is a small which does fit well for me now but in the christmas period maybe a little bit on the small side – I blame the cheese board.
4- The CROPPED leg. I know I am about a year or two late to this trend but I don’t care i’m living for it
5- The matching navy and burgundy stripes on both the jacket and the bottoms. Which goes perfectly with my watch strap i’m currently wearing.
This tracksuit is more suitable for spring but I am finding it so hard to not wear it now in the colder months especially here in England (I do but I freeze).
It is perfect teamed with a plain white t-shirt like I have here, I usually tuck it in. In terms of shoes low top trainers are my favourite. My all time favourite shoes to wear with this are my Gucci ace sneakers when I bought them it was literally for an outfit like this. Although I do love wear my classic vans with this outfit too.

(As you can tell it was pretty cold when I was shooting this jacket & I was standing on a frozen lake – So I hope you appreciate it)
This jacket is from River Island. I was really surprised on the quality of the jacket considering. It has really made me look into river island more which i’ve noticed have really upped their game especially adding lines like their limited edition range.
I have been wanting a Borg lined jacket for a while ever since I saw the dreamy Balenciaga shearling aviator. However this is a lot more affordable at £110 (IF YOU”RE A SIZE SMALL OR XXS IT IS ONLY £55 – I’m wearing a size small here). I love the cuffs on the sleeves wrapped in Borg which are slightly cropped which I like to show what jumper or short you’re wearing underneath. I prefer it unzipped with a scarf rather than zipped up but each to their own. For a high street alternative I think it is a great jacket that not only looks stylish also keeps your super warm.
